She describes herself as a “new” self-taught artist, free to choose workshops that inspires her. By opting for
“à la carte” training in acrylics she is able to focus on specific areas of interest and evolve a lot more quickly in her painting.
Moncton New Brunswick is her home and where she discovered and chose abstract art.
“In abstract art, there are no rules. I can express my view of the world without compromise”.
When someone ask her why she paints, she answers:
“I paint because I can’t do otherwise. I think about it all the time”.
For Marjolaine Paulin, painting is a way of being.
